Who doesn't love Mickey Rooney? I mean, really...and for some reason I am laughing at the thought of him as Mr. Yunioshi from Breakfast At Tiffany's. 

I can't believe I have had this account for three years and I've only made one posting so far. That is disgusting. This week my obsessions include Helter Skelter and various childrens books, which I inheritated from my Scholastic Publishing employed friend Jating. Catwings by Ursula K Le Guin is my absolute favorite and I only wish I had Catwings as a kid. I also took some young adult novels which could turn into a bad habit. I've really justified it all by telling myself that I am very obsessed with teenage television and I don't see anything wrong with it...at least this is teenage literature.

Other obsessions of the week include The Girl With The Replaceable Head EP Passion-Free Life. I heard TGWTRH on a podcast a few weeks ago, wrote to the DJ, who then gave me email address of the singer. She ended up mailing me her EP from the UK. How sweet is that? I want to put my Tigermilk cd on repeat tonight as I drift into a land of Yang dreams with wings, whiskers, and white fluffy lace.

Should have done laundry tonight as the days are getting colder and requiring more layers. I barelly had anything appropriate to wear to work today even. I just couldn't though. I have clean corduroys, which are always the best textile of September, however I am assuming I'm too fat to get my ankles through them these days.... going back to the gym on Wednesday, so I say.
I feel so tired that I may not be able to remove my contact lenses tonight. If I don't that may be bad, actually I won't be able to drive if I do that.

Whatever.

This evening I fell asleep quite early and woke up several times, getting up at 3 am and staying up. I've been listening to The 6ths, and Future Bible Heroes. Cigarettes are smoked, been observing old photographs of Chrissie Hynde and wondering when I will reach Rock Star Super Woman Status.

I'm quite excited as I have this weekend off from work. Seems like I always have a lot of time off of work, ah bless this god damn economy. Since this is my first post on this thing, I am leaving it short. Ciao.
